Seeing himself more of a drinker than a sommelier, Reuben's passion has always been in providing the best drinking experience for his customers and guests. Although holding almost every sake certification under the sun, he considers the stories created between people to be of more importance than the technicalities of alcohol.
Born and raised in Aizu, Fukushima, Hatsumi is a veteran in the F&B industry, having worked for more than 10 years in restaurants in both Japan and overseas. A love for sake and rice is as natural to her as her love for her hometown region of Aizu, which is both a rice-growing region and also holds some of the most award winning breweries in Japan. From The Kabuki Works, she hopes to spread the interesting history of Japanese sake and food to the world.
